Modern Traditional Style – Monona, WI

The design of this lakeside home in Monona, Wisconsin, was inspired by several styles and accommodates a narrow lot. With modern, traditional, prairie and rustic elements, it is truly a custom home. Solar and geothermal energy are two notable pieces of its achievement of platinum certification in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), driven by the owners’ commitment to sustainability. The home is the first in Monona and second in all of Dane County to receive the prestigious award for leadership in energy efficiency.

A boathouse at the water’s edge features living space as well as a rooftop deck with a perfect view of the Monona Terrace. The 4,620 square foot home has five bedrooms, four bathrooms and a detached garage.
